At Bridalwearplus, were proud to be breaking boundries in the bridal industry and offering every bride the choice that they deserve.

We get so disheartened every day when we hear brides tell us that they have been to try on wedding dresses, only to have a snotty sales person look down their nose, or to be advised that the samples that a shop stocks range from 6-16.

How intimidating and how unfair?.  We find this can quite often makes brides that visit us a little wary and intrepid about the reaction that they will receive from us.  So this is our way of giving you re-assurance before you get chance to speak to us face to face or over the phone about what we can offer.

We want all brides to have the confidence to visit us and not be surprised when we say "yes we hold samples up to a size 30" after all shouldn't this be the "norm" and the service you should get where ever you shop?

What sizes do you stock?

At our Lincoln bridal shop we stock up to size 30 sample dresses in store, so if you make your appointment, please be confident to tell our stylists what size you wear and they will make sure that we have as much choice as possible available for you to try on for yoru appointment.

There is now a new showroom in store that is devoted to showcasing as many of our size 20-30 wedding dresses, so instead of us having some items tucked away in the warehouse, we now have out on show as many gowns in these sizes as we possibly can, so you have lots of choice and can have fun trying on wedding dresses. 

If I buy online, can you help me with sizing?

Yes, we are always on hand to help with sizing questions and we love helping brides to make sure they get the ultimate fit from our dresses.  If you can't visit us in person, you can call one of our stores, or email us with your measurements and we will offer guidance on sizing and we can advise if there are any alterations that may be needed in order to get a 100% perfect fit.   Our dresses tend to be made with corset back fastening as this give a much better and securer fit that you can achieve with a zip back dress.

If I get a reduced price dress, am I getting an ex-sample dress?

Its very unlikely, when we list available stock, we list brand new dresses that are being held in stock at our head office.  However we periodically sell off our ex-sample dresses to make room for our newest collections, but we put notes on if the dress advertised is ex display, so you are aware that 99% of the time you are purchasing a brand new dress that just carries a price reduction.

I'm looking for a wedding dress with sleeves, can you help?

Yes, we have a few styles in our collection that have long length sleeves.  But you dont need to limit yourself on style, the strapless dresses in our collection are so supportive and these can be teamed up with a long sleeved bolero to give greater confidence.  So many brides are wary about wearing strapless dresses, but fitted correctly they dont move but they hug you to give wonderful support.

I've been told that I may be charged more for size 16 and above, is this true?

Not from us, we charge exactly the same price for a size 6 as we do for a size 30.  Its not the size of our dresses that dictates the price you pay, its the style that sets the price, then you can change the size or colour safe in the knowledge that there are no hidden extras.

However we fully understand that most other retailers do apply an upcharge at either a size 18 or 22....now thats just not right !

How will my dress be packed?

If you are purchasing one of our new collection wedding dresses, we steam your dress and hang this in a full length dress bag.  If you are purchasing one of our discounted dresses then your dress will be packed inside out and folded, so it will require pressing on arrival with you.
